Bulletin Number: BN-67
With Congress on its summer recess, the PMPA’s retained lobbyist, The Franklin Partnership, recently prepared a briefing for members on efforts to reform health care at the Federal level.
This report consolidates the more than 2,000 pages of legislation into a readable brief on the issue of health care reform. The Franklin Partnership report provides the detail necessary to be informed on where this issue stands in Congress at the committee level. This detailed information is invaluable and will help cut through all of the rhetoric, since more than 75% of what’s available in the media, blogs, etc., on both sides is untrue.
Members are encouraged to review this document ahead of the coming health care debate in September, so you’ll be prepared to take action once Congress is back in session.
