Contour Tool was founded in 1986 as a quick-turnaround tooling company. Today it has evolved into a premier precision CNC machining partner for manufacturers across multiple industrial sectors. When global competition threatened the screw machine industry in the early 1990s, the founder made a strategic pivot that would define our future: investing in CNC equipment and focusing on the challenging, precision work that larger shops avoided.
Leadership & Philosophy
Under the leadership of the General Manager Michelle Reichlin, who took over operations in 2008, Contour Tool has embraced a culture that puts both customers and employees first. This approach has resulted in remarkable 20+ year average employee tenure and deep customer relationships built on trust and transparent communication.
As a woman-owned business now backed by Nesco’s well resourced ownership, we combine the agility and personal attention of a family business with the expanded access to take on larger projects and expand into new markets.
